And it’s good to know that all the friendies (bar just a few) are now all in their 30s too!
We had some awesome parties...from a cocktail birthday party (for Mrs Blake)...
An 80's cartoon and TV character dress up birthay party (which happened to coincide with Halloween) for Shona's birthday party...
A farewell for Bee at London’s oldest wine bar. I unfortunately missed Murray’s birthday party, but instead got to babysit little Harper...who has given me a complete false impression of what is to come, as she was an absolute angel! (Seriously...how cute is she?)
As of last week, we have managed to unpack most of the boxes that we moved from the garage to the lounge (all except our wedding presents, which I’m still waiting ever so patiently to open and unpack...almost a year later). We will get there yet!
We finally had the carpets fitted in our new place (the 3 bedrooms below), the painting is now complete too and things are really starting to take the shape of a nice new home now (besides the fact that we still don’t have cupboards...apart from just some hanging rails).
So it really has been a busy busy month...and November has pretty much started off with a similar big bang (not to mention the literal big bangs for Guy Fawkes too)!
We have already attended a wedding (for Tim, one of Mark’s colleagues) in Tunbridge Wells. They had their ceremony in a lovely old church and the reception followed in an awesome little barn! It was our second English/English wedding we have been to (the first being Zoe and Paul’s) and considering we hardly new anyone there, we had such a good time and danced the night away and it was quite nice to get out of ‘London’ itself for a weekend.
The coming month brings some more festivities and crazyness before the December month even gets underway, with Stag do’s and Hen parties and just a good old girl’s night! Fun times ahead!
