Mark is already on his second 2 week stint in Joburg for the year, we have moved into an apartment at the Marina (and once again the rest of our stuff is in storage). The apartment is smaller, which is actually great, as I don't feel like I'm rattling around in it for 2 weeks each month and it's right in the hub of the marina, which is great for daily walks and has a fantastic view of the marina (from our balcony).
I am half way through my next course, which has started off at a much 'slower' pace than the last...and the next assignment deadline is looming...2 more days to go! The past little while has been a bit of a draining time, so if ever there was a time for a little pick me up, today was that day.
With Mark being in Joburg, I thought Valentine's day would be the furthest thing from his mind, so much so that I decided to test him this morning to see if he would remember...and he did! I got a phone call bright and early to wish me, which made me a feel a little silly, but also content. So you can imagine my even bigger surprise when reception called to say a courier had arrived for me, which I needed to sign for...and there waiting for me was a lovely bunch of 12 red roses with some choccies and a precious note. Very spoilt indeed (and more than a little sheepish...)
Happy Valentine's Day all, I hope you all have a wonderful day of spoiling from your loved ones.
And most importantly HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY Mark! Thanks for being a wonderful and patient hubby! I love you lots and lots!
